All Saints' church in Trimulgherry, Holy Trinity church in Bolarum, St. John's church, St. Mary's church, Ananda Buddha Vihara - a Buddhist religious destination with a museum and rest house for monks, Medak Cathedral and Maharaja Chandulal's temple are famous religious places in Secunderabad.

All Saint's Church is a 149 years old church which has the coveted distinction of winning the prestigious heritage award for being well maintained and a unique structure. If you are keen to visit a Buddhist religious site, you can head for Ananda Buddha Vihara located at Mahendra hills. Here, you will be able to see a meditation hall, museum and a rest house meant for monks.

There is also something unique in Holy Trinity Church in Bolarum which was constructed in 1847. Yes! the stained glass windows are similar to those found in churches in England and the Victorian Gothic style architecture. The stained glass windows in Medak Cathedral depicting the nativity, crucifixion and ascension of Christ too are a major tourist attraction.

Trimulgherry fort is an example of architectural marvel with barracks, arsenals mews etc. and surrounded by a very deep canal. This fort was built in 1867 and attracts tourists to Secunderabad. The President of India stays in Rashtrapati Nilayam (also called Residency House) on a visit to South India. The Alleygator is truly an entertainment hub located at clock Tower in Secunderabad.

Trimulgherry is famous for the fort and also for umpteen restaurants serving Continental, Chinese and Indian food. You will find McDonald's, KFC, Olives and Cheese, Koffee and Kababs, Yummy Baskin and Robbins and bakeries such as Vacs Pastry and Cake Basket for mouth watering delicacies. What's more? MG road (Mahatma Gandhi road), earlier known as James street, is a busy street. Do you know why? It is a favourite shopping hub spread across 2 kms. Excited? Then get ready for serious bargaining in General bazaar and cloth market. Park lane is famous for fashion textiles. Chenoy Trade Centre (CTC) is a very large computer bazaar where you can go for buying computers on sale, rent hardware or just get computer peripherals repaired along with many other business establishments.
